Sponsorship Information
Dear Merchant,
Caring For A Cause, a Non Profit Organization in Henry County, strives to encourage the community to
follow the greatest commandment Jesus gave us, to love one another. We aid in supporting families who are
in need of emotional, tangible, informational, and companionship support through community events and
fundraising campaigns. With a focus on those who have been faced with circumstances beyond their control,
Caring For A Cause stands beside families through their toughest times and assists in meeting the needs that
arise from unforeseen events. All that Caring For A Cause is able to accomplish each time could not be done
without the strong network of individuals and organizations that are willing to step in and provide assistance.
Caring For A Cause began in 2010 as just one mom, who overheard a story about her son’s classmate who
was battling Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, wanting to aid support to a family in need. Nikki Rogers, Director and
Founder of Caring For A Cause, quickly began to rally a team of people together in order to host an event to
support the family in need. The decision was made to host a baseball tournament to honor and raise support
for Maddie Briscoe’s family. A baseball tournament that Nikki dreamed would only have a couple of local
teams and raise a couple thousand dollars, ultimately turned into more than 60 teams and raised over 27,000
dollars in support for the family. The overwhelming involvement from the community gave Nikki the dream
that this could be done again for more families in need. She has since set out to encourage our community to
follow the greatest commandment Jesus ever gave us, to love one another; and has helped numerous local
families raising over $600,000.
Here we are preparing for the 9th year of the very tournament that yielded our foundation. We are so thankful
to our Lord for allowing us the opportunity to support the children in our community who have battled with
childhood cancer. The Team Maddie Tournament is the largest of our events every year and always blesses
families who are battling childhood cancer. This year we will be raising funds for two children who are in
current battle against leukemia, you can read about them above.
We would be honored to have you partner with us through a sponsorship for this event, as we celebrate our
success thus far and continue to bless our community. If you feel lead to support this event and these sweet
children battling childhood cancer, please select on of the sponsorship levels on the next page or send any
monetary donation of your choice with the sponsor information form.
Caring For A Cause is a registered 501©3 organization and your donations are tax deductible.
On behalf of our entire Board of Directors, we want to thank you for accepting this invitation and
considering becoming a sponsor of the 2018 Team Maddie Tournament. Should you feel lead to sponsor,
please contact Nikki Rogers at 404-731-1635 or Justin White at 404-272-8418. You may also reach out via
email by emailing us at lovecfac@gmail.com and we will get you the information you need!
