Brewers Take Season Opener 14-9!
Brewers starter Jeremy John struggled in the first inning, allowing eight runs and another in the second. Don Thomas of the Tigers hit a Grand Slam and a two run homer all in the first. Chris Harley had six RBI for the Brew Crew. John settled in however and the Brewers used the absence of Tigers #1 starter Anthony Angelo to their advantage, collecting twelve walks on way to a 14-9 comeback win to start the season. *The game was shortened to 4 innings due to time constraints.
